Mr. Atkinson was applauded enthusiastically in “The Mikado’s Song.” A cornet solo, “The Lost Chord.’’ was played by Mr. Fred Bowes. The band was then heard in a selection from “Patience." Mrs. Daisy Basham sang “When Maiden Loves,” from “The Yeomen of the Guard," and, with Mr. Atkinson, sang a duet from “The Mikado,” “There is Beauty in the Bellow xyf the Blast.” Other band selections included “Yeomen of the Guard,” “See How Brightly the Fates,” and “Brightly Dawns Our Wedding Day,” from the “Mikado.” The programme concluded with the playing of a “Gondoliers” selection by the band.
