SPEAKER AND MUSICIAN To convey in simple and direct language a wealth of information regarding the sources of inspiration of the great composers of music is the task that Mr. Arthur Hirst has solved in liis lecture-recitals. H€; has a worldwide reputation as a man with a definite mission to bring home to the average man the beauties of the great composers. He will appear in the Concert Chamber, Town Hall, on Tuesday, Apri 16. The “Scottish Musical Magazine” says: “Mr. Hirst has a charming platform manner which appeals to his audience at once and arrests their sympathetic and earnest attention.
