AUCKLAND GRAMMAR SCHOOL’S ANNUAL SPORTS TWO RECORDS BROKEN Glorious weather conditions and an exceptionally large attendance of parents, friends and old boys, favoured the annual sports meeting of the Auckland Grammar School, staged on the Domain Cricket Ground to-day. During the morning the various heats and semi-finals were contested, leaving a most interesting programme of senior events and finals for this afternoon. Early in the meeting two records were broken. In the lialf-mile cycle under 16, Jack managed 1. 17 l-ss, thus lowering the previous record established by Hope in 19-7 by 3-5 of a second: In the 120yds * hurdles championship under 16, Carnachan established a new time of 17 l-ss.
