Sir,— Coming: up to Auckland on Good Friday morning: a party of motorists tallied the southbound traffic. Between Mercer and the Great South Road tram terminus they counted 667 motor-cars, five trucks, 70 motor-cycles and one horse and trap speeding” southward. H.K.B.
