TAIROA REPORTED. —EII route from Wellington to New York, Boston, Halifax and London, the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Tairoa is reported to have cleared Colon last Thursday. She was dispatched from Wellington on March 3. POOLTA FROM AUSTRALIA. —The Union Company reports that the Poolta is to load at Port Stephens, Newcastle and Sydney, and is to sail from Sydney on April 10 for New Plymouth and Wellington.

TAMAROA LEAVES SOUTHAMPTON. —Cabled advice states that the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Tamaroa, en route from London, left Southampton on Friday for Auckland and Wellington. She is due here on May 1.

-TOFUA LEAVES SUVA. —The Union Company’s Island steamer Tofua left Suva for Tonga and Samoa at four o'clock on Saturday afternoon. She is due to return to Suva on April 9, and Auckland on April 15.

CORINTHIC AT SOUTHAMPTON.— The Shaw. Savill and Albion liner Corinthic is reported to have reached Southampton from New' Zealand last Friday. She sailed from 'Wellington on February 16.

SUSSEX FROM THE EAST. —The local office of the Union Company advises that the Sussex is to leave Calcutta on Wednesday for Rangoon, Penang, Singapore, Samarang, Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Bunedin.

MAM ILI US AT PANAMA. —The Show. Savill and A’bion steamer Mamilius is reported to havg reached Panama last Thursday, en route from Lyttelton to London and West Coast of England ports of Great Britain. She sailed from Lyttelton oil March 6.

PLUME ARRIVING.— Due in the stream at 1.30 p.m. to-day from San Francisco, the Vacuum Oil Company’s tanker Plume will berth later at the Western Wharf to unload the local portion of her bulk oil before proceeding to Southern ports to complete.

NIAGARA AT SYDNEY. The Koval Mail liner Niagara reached Sydney from Auckland at 4.30 on Saturday morning. She is scheduled to leave Sydney on Thursday and Auckland on the "following Tuesday on her return voyage to SuVa, Honolulu and Vancouver.

KARAMEA CLEARS BALBOA. The Shaw, Savill and Albion motor-ship Karamea cleared Balboa on March 24, in continuation of her voyage from London to Suva, Port Chalmers, Lyttelton and Nelson. She is scheduled to reach Port Chalmers on April 17.

CARGO FROM LIVERPOOL. With cargo from West Coast ports of Great Britain, the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Matakana was to clear Liverpool for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton and Bunedin on Saturday. She is due at Auckland on May 7.

CANADIAN WINNER TO COMPLETE. —From Southern ports, via Wellington and Napier, the Canadian Winner is due at Auckland on April S to complete loading. She is to clear here finally on April 3 0 for New York, Boston and Montreal, via Panama. • TASMANIA TO LOAD. —The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company advises that, the steamer Tasmania is due at Auckland about April 10 to complete her loading. She sails finally from this port on April 13 for New York. Boston, Halifax and West Coast ports of England, via Panama. SYDNEY STEAMERS. —The Ullmaroa arrived at Wellington this morning from Sydney and the Maunganui reached Sydney from Auckland. The Marama is due at Sydney to-morrow from Wellington. The Ulimaroa sails from Wellington on Friday for Sydney and the Marama and Maunganui both leave Sydney for Auckland and Wellington respectively. MATAROA SAILING. —At 5 o’clock tomorrow afternoon the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Mataroa leaves Auckland for Gisborne, thence Wellington, to fill up for Home. She is scheduled to sail finally from Wellington at daybreak on April 13 for Southampton and London, via Panama. GOLDEN CROSS COMING. The Oceanic and Oriental Navigation Company’s steamer Golden Cross is reported to have cleared San Francisco for Los Angeles last Friday to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. She is to leave Los Angeles to-day and to reach Auckland on April HURUNUI LEAVES PANAMA.— Cabled news has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Hurunui arrived at Panama on March 22 from Lyttelton, and sailed again the following day for London. The vessel left Lyttelton on February 28. DANGER TO SHIPPING.-The ActingSecretary, General Post Office, advises that the following navigation warning has been received:—“Floating wreckage sighted March 25 lat. 35 degrees 15 minutes south, longitude 350 degrees 40 minutes east Warden Heads lighthouse, bearing 45 degrees distant 10 miles. Bangerous to navigation.’’ RARANGA SAILS. The Shaw, Savill and A-bion steamer Raranga left for New Plymouth, Wanganui and Napier vesterday morning to continue loading New Zealand produce for London, Avonmoutli, Glasgow and Liverpool. The vessel vdll return to Auckland from Napier for further loading, and from Auckland she will proceed to Wellington to compute her

cargo. She is to be dispatched from Wellington for London on April 24. TUT AN E KA 1 FOR KERMADECS.— The Government steamer Tutanekai sails for the Hauraki Gulf at 11 o’clock to-mor-row morning to complete attending to the buoys and beacons. The vessel will return to Auckland on Thursday or Friday morning to replenish her bunkers and to take in stores. At 11 o’clock next Monday morning she is to sail for the Kermadee Group to rebuild and replenish the provision depots for castaway mariners. From the Kermadecs she will return to Auckland to take in stores for Northern lighthouses.
