GRAND ORANGE LODGE
ANNUAL SESSIONS OPEN Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. The Grand Orange Lodge of New Zealand commenced its annual sessions on Saturday, when the Right Worshipful Grand Master, Brother H. Smithers, presided, and was supported by a full attendance of Grand Lodge officers and delegates from all parts of the Dominion.
The Mayor of Christchurch, the Rev. J. K. Archer, accorded the brethren a civic welcome. On behalf of the Right Worshipful Grand Master and the Grand Lodge, the Past Master, Rev. Brother G. K. Aitken, briefly outlined the objects and ideals of the institution.
