AMBULANCE PARADE

ST. MATTHEW'S CHURCH About CO members of the St. John Ambulance Brigade and Nursing Division attended a parade at St. Matthew’s Church yesterday morning. Members who had come to Auckland to participate in the annual Easter competitions were there in large numbers. Corps-Superintendent F. E. Schofield was ma.rshall of the parade, and Commissioner C. J. Tunks and other corps officers were at the ceremony. In his sermon Archbishop Averill spoke on the subject of the first Easter day and outlined the lessons to be learned from the Crucifixion and the Resurrection.
