HEADER FROM WHARF
DRUNKEN FIREMAN’S DIVE “This man took a header from the wharf last e\ r ening,” commented Senior-Sei*geant O’Grady when Robert Grainger appeared at the Police Court this morning, Grainger, a fireman, aged 50, pleaded guilty to being disorderly, while drunk. The senior-sergeant said that the man had half-undressed before having his dip. It had been necessary to get a doctor to him this morning and there were expenses amounting to £1 Is to be paid. Grainger was convicted and discharged on condition that he paid the costs. Default was fixed at three days.
