SHIP’S OFFICER BREAKS LEG
J. C. McCaskill, second officer of the Tees, suffered a broken right leg at Christchurch last evening as a result of slipping while jumping ashore from the vessel. He was admitted to hospital. As a result, the Tees did not sail for the Chatham Islands last evening.
