JOCKEY IN HOSPITAL
THROWN HEAVILY ON HEAD Press Association GREYMOUTH, Tuesday. Charles Wasley, a jockey, was riding Queen’s Ferry on the Victoria Park track last evening when the horse stumbled and threw him on his head. He was taken to hospital suffering from concussion, spent a bad night and his condition this morning was unc hanged. The horse was injured, but there are hopes of saving it.
