MR. PAUL SYKES’S NEW APPOINTMENT Mr. Paul Sykes, who for the last two years has been assistant Canadian Trade Commissioner at Auckland, has 1 been appointed Canadian Trade Commissioner at ITong-Kong and will leeve to-morrow to take over his new position. Before coming to New Zealand. Mr. Sykes was attached to the headquarters staff of the Department of Trade and Commerce in Ottawa. The ofiiee in Hong-Kong is a new departure by the Canadian Government and it will be Mr. Sykes’s duty to organise and open the new office. Mrs. Sykes will sail with her husband to-morrow on the Maunganui.
