O POT I K I (From Our Own Correspondent) Playing on the Opotiki Bowling Club’s green on Saturday in the men’s championship singles, Bridger IS. defeated D. Morris 13, on the 20th head. The semifinals were then played, and resulted: O’Sullivan 20, beat Todd 10; Bridger 25, beat Chambers 9. The final between Bridger and O’Sullivan will be played next week. The holders of the feathers, W. J. Scott and Dawson, defeated the challengers, Budd and Gordon, by 24 to 17. KAWAKAWA V. HIKU RANGI (From Our Own Correspondent) The Kawakawa Bowling Club sent two full rinks to -Hikurangi in an endeavour to gain the Swann Cup, but the defenders won by 46 points to 35. Hikurangi was represented by E. MacDonald, R. Scott, T. J. Wood and Campbell, and Davidson. Young, H. Pearson and Westwell.
