ODDFELLOWS’ DECISION CONFERENCE AT NELSON f Press Association NELSON, Sunday. At the Dominion conference of th 4 Grand Lodge of the Independent Order of Oddfellows, a remit to raise the numerical basis of representation in the Grand Lodge was defeated. A remit was adopted relating to the admission of junior members between 16 and 19 years of age into the adult lodges at reduced rates, with relative benefits. Remits making provision for biennial estimates, the setting up of various committees in subordinate lodges, and the rearrangement of the constitution and index, were passed. A report on the question of general book-keeping and registration of mem* bers was referred to the executive, um gether with Bros. D. R. Cooper, P.M-G-* and G. F. Rudkin, P.G.P.C.P., with power to bring in any necessary revision. During a recess, Bro. M. Hooper, D.D.G., secretary for New Zealand, advised members of the progress mad? for the formation of a grancf encamp* ment of New Zealand. Increased sick allowances and to' mediate funeral benefits for Rebekatt members were adopted.
