WONDERFUL RECORD

SHAKESPEARIAN SEASON l The production of 19 of Shakespeare’s plays in three weeks is the astonishing record of Mr. Allan Wilkie and his company. It is an amazing performance, equalled nowhere else in the v/orld. . At the conclusion of “Much Ado About Nothing” at His Majesty’s Theatre on Saturday evening, there ■were scenes of enthusiasm which should prompt Mr. Wilkie to continue his high endeavour. Streamers were flung on the stage from all parts of the theatre, and Miss Hunter-Watts and the other members of the company received gifts and beautiful flowers from their admirers. Mr. Wilkie thanked the audience for the reception which had been given the company during the season.
