YOUNG MAN POISONED

ACCIDENT AT DEVONPORT A young man, William Waterman, of 126 Victoria Road, Devonport, was brought over to the Auckland Hospital by an ambulance this morning apparently suffering from poisoning. Waterman is a labourer, who was formerly employed by tli eDeconport Borough Council, but who has been working on the relief works at Stanley Bay for the last few months. It is thought that he may have swallowed the contents of a bottle of liniment in the night. His condition at present is very serious.
