SECOND TUNNEL PIERCED
TARANAKI-MAIN TRUNK LINE Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, Wednesday. After two years’ work from both sides of the hill the Mangaone tunnel was pierced yesterday, sufficiently to allow men to pass through. The tunnel will be open for the transport of supplies and gear in the course of a few weeks. This is the second of the four long tunnels on the route of the TokoOkahukura line.
