Miramar’s Landing Ground
An area of 40 acres in the sand dunes near Miramar lias been levelled and covered with clay and rock lor an airplane landing ground. The work was done for the Wellington Citv Council by the unemployed. An offt% has just been made to lease it. This has been rejected, the council wishing to keep the area in its own hands.—P.A.
