TENNIS CHALLENGE RULED OUT
The New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association has ruled out of order Canterbury’s challenge for the Nunnelly Casket (the recently donated interprovincial women’s tennis trophy), on the ground that Canterbury failed to comply with the conditions of the contest. Wellington thus holds the casket for the season. .
