An inquiry was received from the Minister of Public Works as to whether the board -would agree to Henderson, New Lynn, and Glen Eden being included in the district, with separate representation. The chairman, Mr. J. A. C. Allum, moved that the board agree to the inclusion of the extra areas, but that the board at present did not see any reason for increasing the number of members on the board. Mr. Allum pointed out that the three areas combined did not have so many people as One Tree Hill, Onchunga. or several other places now grouped. This was agreed to after a long discussion. •'These people will have representation —all the members of the present board." vnut ■! Mr U W
