WOMAN’S ASHES STREWN ON EPSOM RACE-TRACK

The ashes of the cremated remains of Mrs. Sylvia Carthew, the racehorse owner, who died suddenly at Nice, were scattered at the jumps on the Six Mile Hill gallops at Epsom. Six Mile Hill gallops belong to Mr. Stanley Wootton, the trainer of Mrs. Carthew’s horses, w-hich included Medal, who dead-heated for first place in the Cambridgeshire in 1927.
