QAY BALLERINA, the two-year-old conqueror of Reremoana in the North Island Challenge Stakes at Trentham last Saturday, has been sold by Mr. W, G. Stead to the Sydney sportsman, Mr. H. Kirkpatrick, for 2,ooogns. She will race at Manawatu and at Auckland in her new owner’s interests and then go to Australia. Gay Ballerina is by Lord Quex from Lady Ball, and won the two-year-old handicaps at Ellerslie on January 1 and 2 last.
