Canon J. L. A. Kayll. who is giving up his position as vicar of Stratford, in order to live at Katikati. has been appointed diocesan chaplain by Bishop Cherrington.
The Hon. E. A. Ransom, Minister of Public Works, will make a tour of the Thames electorate next week, and he expects to visit Wuihi about Friday, March 22. The Minister will be accompanied by Mr. A. M. Samuel, M.P. for Thames. j
Count Stroemfelt, the Swedish Minister Plenipotentiary, who arrived by the Aorangi last Monday on a month's visit to New Zealand, left this morning for Whangarei. accompanied by Mr. O. J.
