CRUELTY TO BULL
DROVER GOES TO GAOL Press Association ASHBURTON, Thursday. At the Magistrate’s Court Thomas Pennall, a drover, was sentenced to 14 days’ hard labour on a charge of cruelty to a bull by cutting its nostrils in order to remove a ring. The animal was at the time in a truck in the Ashburton railway yards.
