THEFT OF WALLET

YOUNG MAN REMANDED Benjamin Peter Martinson, a labourer aged 22, was charged at the Police Court this morning with stealing a wallet containing a dollar bill and £l, of a total .value of £ 2 ss. The wallet was the property of Stanley Jones, and the offence was said to have taken place at Wellington on February 27.

A, remand was granted until March IS. “This is a Wellington case, but we are trying to- have it dealt with up here,” said Detective-Sergeant Bickerdike.
