HAURAKI. —The manager reports: The 400 ft. level has been cleared and se- * ured to the seaward face. The leading: stope on the Stock wood reef has been commenced and the reef locks promising-. A further 20ft. of stoping will reach the point where the gold was got last week. Three thifts are employed continuing: the drive seaward from the Tangye winze to connect with the rise on the Stock wood reef from the 400 ft. level for ventilation and stoping purposes. J* ls «**P*cted to connect this week. The reef in the top of the rise is promising for gold. The Bin.. Cameron pump has been lowered to the 400 fr. level and being connected up to assist the bottom plunger. This will be finished this r * n<l then the unwatering of the ! .>oft of new shaft below the 400 ft level will be star ted.
