TRADE OF BRITAIN
DECREASE IN EXPORTS (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) LONDON, Tuesday. The Board of Trade returns for February show that the imports into Britain for the month were of the value of £91,345,000, a decrease of £7,503,000 compared with February last year. The value of exports was £55,665,000, a decrease of £1,571,000, and of re-exports £10.300,000, a decrease of £1,3G4,000. The principal decreases were:—lmports: Grain and flour, £957,000; non-dutiable food and drink, £805,000; raw wool, £1,795,000; hides and skins. £785,000; iron and steel manufactures. £768,000; leather, £897,000. Increases: —Imports: Oils and fats, £729,000. Exports:—lron and steel manufactures, £473,000.
