CROQUET TOURNEY
JUNIOR HANDICAP SINGLES The annual tournament of the Auckland Croquet Association was advanced a further stage yesterday on the Remuera, Mount Hobson and Carlton Clubs’ lawns. v In the junior grade the final of the handicap singles was played of!, and another two days should see the completion of the tourney. Yesterday’s results are as follow: —- SENIOR GRADE Championship Singles—Mrs. Davey beat Mrs. Torrance aud won section C. Mrs. A. White beat Mrs. .Tarvie and won sec - tion K. Mrs. Broad beat Airs. Cole. Handicap Singles—Miss Skeet beat Mrs. Green, Mrs. Clarkson beat Mrs. Brucf, Mrs. Coutts beat Mrs. Whetter, Mrs. Thompson beat Mrs. Arev, Mrs. Brabant beat. Mrs. Torrance and Miss Keatley, Mi-s. Arey beat Mrs. Torrance and Mrs. Brabant, Miss Sloman beat Mrs. Mahoney and Mrs. Lyon, Miss Hesketh beat Mrs. Dukes, Mrs. Parker-Hill beat Mrs. Robertson, Mrs. Gallaher beat Airs. Bruce and Airs. Clarkson and Aliss Hesketh, Airs. Lyon beat Mrs. Finch, Mrs. Hilton beat Airs. White, Airs. Clarkson beat Mrs. Ilarvey, Mrs. Tl. White beat Mrs. Newell, Airs.
