BRISK TONE CONTINUES (Australian and X.Z. Press Association) Reed. 1.0 p.m. LONDON, Tuesday. At the wool sales to-day 9,692 bales were sold, of which 4,069 were Australian and 4.100 New Zealand. There was a medium offering of Merinos, principally West Australian clip. There were speculators in parcels from Victoria and New South Wales. There was a good selection of greasy crossbreds and splendid offerug of best style slipes. A brisk tone continues, the home trade being predominant. Prices ate unchanged. The following prices were obtained for New Zealand clips: ‘Bee,” 20£d, top, IS id average: “H.M.8.,”. 20d, and 17d. “Cricklewood.” 17id and 16d; “Kandt. ' 17d and 16id; “Awhea,” 20d tad UiO.
