NEW MINISTER FAVOURABLE (From Our Resident Reporter) WELLINGTON, Monday. Open-air schools are likely to receive much attention from the Minister of Education, the Hon. H. Atmore, in the near future. Mr. Atmore has promised to mept the Open-Air Schools League on his next visit to Christchurch, and it is known that the objects of the league are viewed very sympathetically by the Government. One of the main planks in the educational platform of the United Party is the provision of more such schools, and it is understood that big developments ma> be expected at an early date.
