Warfare between units of the French Foreign Legion and a band of maurauding Riffs serves as the background for many of the humorous sequences in “Plastered In Paris,” Fox Films special comedy production, which is now being shown at the Royal Theatre, Kingsland. In the picture Sammy Cohen and •Tack Pennick, featured comedians, slip into the desert stronghold of the Riff leader, rescue two captive girl friends and eventually “kidnap” the inhabitants of the renegade's harem. “A Thief in the Z>ark.” which is also i being shown, is an exciting mystery ; story, dealing with spiritualism and I jewel robbery.
