QUEEN OF SOCCER
CROWNING CEREMONY ON TUESDAY NIGHT
With all pomp and ceremony, Miss Marjorie Simpson will be crowned Queen of Auckland Soccer at a monster- assembly at Blandford Park next Tuesday night at 8 o’clock. Wonder-
ful lighting' effects will set off a diversified display by gaily-clad sports girls, and a great drill, gymnastic and part-songs demonstration by a big squad of boys from the Maori College in Parnell. Over 150 performers will take part in the crowning -ceremony; there will be massed band music, and several novelty events and races to add further variety to the evening’s programme. Speeches and announcements will be broadcast to all parts of the ground.
