“LOVE AT MIDNIGHT” A trip aboard a French battleship with a number of exciting doings thereon, is offered on the screen of the Prince Edward Theatre this evening in “Love at Midnight,” the First National picture starring Billie Dove which is the present attraction there. Almost the entire action of the dramatic story takes place in the stateroom, gun turrets and on the decks of a modern cruiser, and almost an entire battleship was built inside the studio for close-up scenes of the production. Donald Reed and Paul Lukas play opposite the star, both appearing as officers of the French Navy. Alexander Korda directed the picture, which was adapted from “In the Night Watch,” a stage success of a few years “A Woman in Pawn,” an intense! v dramatic picture with a fine cast of British screen players, will also be shown.
