PROSPECTS AT WHANGAREI (From Our Own Correspondent) WHANGAREI, Friday. At a well-attended meeting last night, the formation of a Rugb". League club was considered. Officer? were elected as follow; Patron, Mr A. J. Murdoch, M.P.; president, Mr. J Forest; secretary, Mr. A. Mitchell: treasurer, Mr. B. Taylor; auditor, Mr O, R. Haigli; committee, Messrs. \Y McLaughlin, A. Chissell, O. Tilson. < Wilding and J. Petterson: delegatto North Auckland Rugby Leagu Messrs. A. Chissell and B. Taylor. ! is hoped to start actual play early i April. Several Auckland clubs offer to come North early in the season.
