EAST TAMAKI SPORTS
ATHLETIC AND HUNTING EVENTS
Ideal weather conditions prevailed for the annual sports meeting of the East Tamaki Amateur Sports Club, held at the East Tamaki recreation ground this afternoon. There was a large attendance, and the track was in good condition. Some splendid exhibitions of jumping were given by members of the Pakuranga Hunt Club. Mr. N. S. Upton, the. secretary, supervised the smooth running of a logn programme. Mr. J. Whitten was starter, and Messrs. Ormiston and Blake judges. Hunting events were judged by Mr. R. Hinton, of Cambridge. Results: Boys’ Race, 14 years and under, 75yds. —J. Baker, 1; A. Stonex, 2; J. Orbrey, Girls’ Race, 14 years and under, 50yds. —Elva Crooks, 1; C. Marr, 2; O.
