HELENSVILLE BY-ELECTION
The by-election to fill the vacancy on the Helensville Town Board caused by the resignation of the former chairman, Mr. J. Mackie. was held yesterday. The voting was close, Mr. A. G. Lowe securing 121 votes and Mr. P. W. Taylor 115—a majority of six.
