TE AWAMUTU FARMERS UNION

The Te Awamutu branch of the Farmers' Union will submit to the annual provincial conference to be held at Hamilton on March 22 the following remit: •‘That this branch considers the time opportune

for the creation of a provincial executive in the Waikato, with headquarters at Hamilton, and with a full-time secretaryorganiser.” Messrs. J. G. Butterworth, G. T. Crawley and A. S. Wyllie were appointed branch delegates to the sub-provincial conference to be held at Hamilton on March 22. It was proposed that the following remit be submitted to the conference: “That the Farmers’ Union take immediate action to obtain the introduction of a Government grading system for the export of pigs on similar }|nes to the dairy grading scheme.”
