FEW TRAFFIC CASES

COURTS ADJOURN EARLY Traffic cases -were dealt with in the Police and Magistrate’s Courts this morning. The lists were much shorter than usual and there were few defended cases. The Magistrate’s Court, over which Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., presided, adjourned at 10.45 and Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M., in the Police Court, concluded his business half an hour later. None of the charges was particularly serious and the heaviest penalty imposed was a fine of £2 10s for dangerous driving.
