MODEL YACHT NOTES
In model yacht racing on the llanukau on Saturday there were 11 starters and the racing was keen. Three boats finished within 225ec and seven others in another 45590. The first prize went to the lad—Pascoe and Billings second. “Felix" writes: That the Ponsonby Cruising Club is catering for model yacht enthusiasts by placing two events on their ambitious programme on Saturday has caused increased interest in this sport. The races will be held at the western end of the boat harbour in St. Liary‘s Bay. Stanley Bay will be well represented, and also, it is hoped. Onehunga. Aotearoa, Salome, Felix, Heather and Silver Bell will be some of the competitors.
