INTOXICATED MAORI DRIVER

A young Maori from the Owairaka district. Moses Hunopo, pleaded guilty in the Te Awamutu Police Court yesterday to a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-car. He was fined £l2, his driving licence was cancelled for the balance ofl the present term, and an order was made /iat / 3 should not have another licence for a further 12 months. In addition, a prohibition order was issued.
