GREAT PROGRESS EXPECTED Press Association NAPIER, To-day. The jubilee annual conference of the New Zealand Pharmaceutical Society opened this morning at Napier,. Delegates were present from till over the Dominion, and a civic reception was accorded them by the Mayor, Mr. J. Vigor Brown. Mr. W. E. Barnard, M.P., and Mr. L. Pickering, president of the Thirty Thousand Club, also spoke. Mr. H. J. Rickard, of Wellington, president of the society, in his address predicted greater developments in chemistry in the next 50 years than even in the past 50.
