The outbreak originated in Sin mons’ printery the top floor and spread to a wool broker’s section, where £S,OOO worth wool was burned. Some firemen were slightly burned ' y molten lead falling from the linotype supplies in tlie blazing printery. The building was owned by Mr. HerSolomon, who is at present visiting New Zealand.
