DANCE PARTY

A very enjoyable dance was given by the Melodian Orchestra in the R.A.0.8. Hall on Saturday evening, the hall being gayly decorated with coloured streamers. Mr. and Mrs. W. Garrett were the winners of the Monte Carlo waltz, and Mrs. J. Kelly and Mr. A. Stayte won. the door prize. Among those present were: Mrs. Garrett, saxe blue crepe de chine relieved with gold. Mrs. J. Kelly, frock of floral crepe de chine. Mrs. C. Stayte, nattier blue crepe de chine with lace. Mrs. L. Kelly, powder blue georgette and posy. Mrs. A. Stayte, shell pink georgette with diamante trimming. Mrs. Neeeh, cream satin frock relieved with red. Mrs. Tothill. frock of silver grey silk. Mrs. Ray. Kelly, larkspur blue crepe de chine frock. Mrs. Marshall, navy blue crepe de chine with gold trimmings. I. Edmanson, black satin with rainbow posie. Miss J. Mackie, blue spangled georgette with beaded shawl. Miss Davies, frock of scarlet crepe de chine with silver lace, shawl to match. Miss M. Simpson, frock of blush pink rav de chine. Miss B. Hazlewood, apple green crepe de chine and gold lace. Miss Jean Stayte, shell pink crepe de chine with lace shawl to tone. Miss Ruth Mclsaac, black crepe de chine with pink pearl trimmings. Miss A. Thomas, frock of floral georgette with Spanish shawl. Miss L. Mackie, emerald green georgette with beaded fringe and Spanish shawl to tone. Miss D. Casey, frock of mauve georgette and silver with uneven hem. Miss P. Stayte, frock of sea green taffeta. Miss R. Goodall, salmon pink georgette relieved with cream lace. Miss A. Marshall, white crepe de chine with pink trimmings. Miss Phyllis Wheeler, frock of shell pink georgette. Miss Mavis Walker, frock of eau de nil green georgette with posy to tone. Miss Swinburne, frock of mauve crepe de chine and posy of feathers.
