JOINT EXCURSION

About 200 went by bus to Long Bay yesterday to attend the joint picnic of the Takapuna Ex-Servicemen’s League and the Waitemata Women’s League. The Takapuna Municipal Band gave a programme of music. Before the return trip Major Wilkie, president of the Ex-Servicemen’s League, addressed the picnickers.
