HEENEY AND MALONEY

FIGHT AT BOSTON TO-DAY N.Z. MAN IN GOOD FORM (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) NEW YORK, Thursday. Tom Heeney, of New Zealand, did some inteusive training in a gymnasium at Boston to-day in preparation for his bout with Maloney on Friday. He skipped, worked pulleys, punched a heavy bag. shadow-boxed and fought several strenuous rounds with two sparring partners. The New Zealander declared himself to be in excellent condition as a result of a long period of hard work. Maloney, who has been training in a camp outside the city, did only routine work to-day. Heeney has impressed local boxing enthusiasts, and as a result there is little betting and no odds are being quoted.
