MABEL POULTON’S NEW ROLES
IXow recognised as one of England s leading film stars through her beauty I and versatility, Mabel Poulton will be seen in six releases from British dominions Films during 1929. Her first will be “Virginia’s Husband s,” in which she plays with Pat Aherne. This will be followed by “Wild Cat Hetty,” with Eric Bransby Williams. “The Con- [ stant Nymph,” in which she scored such a success as “Tessa,” with Ivor Novello as Lewis Dodd, will be a special for early release. A comedy-drama is “Troublesome Wives,” in which she again plays opposite Eric Bransbv "\\ illiams. In “Palais de Danse,” she is said to have excellent scope to display her dramatic ability. At present Miss Poulton is completing her part in the version of •The Silent House.”
