At His Majesty's Theatre tQ-morrow evening Mr. Allan Wilkie will open his season with probably the strongest Shakespearian company in the world, and certainly the most accomplished he has yet presented in New Zealand. In his first production, “The Merry Wives of Windsor,” Mr. Wilkie will once more be seen in bis inimitable study Of the portly Sir John Falstatf. Miss' Hunter-Watts will have the joyous comedy role of Mistress Ford, and others in the cast will include Borna Forbes as Mistress Page, Alexander Marsh as Master Ford this first appearance in Auckland!. Arthur Keane as Slander. John Keanes as Cams, Dennis Barry as Fenton, and Dulcie Cherry as sweet Annie Page. “The Merry Wives of Windsor will be staged for one evening only, and will be followed by “The Merchant of Venice.”
