WATER SPEED RECORD

MAJOR SEGRAVE’S ATTEMPT British Official Wireless RUGBY, Wednesday. Major H. O. D. Segrave’s racing motor-boat, Miss England, in which an attempt will be made to beat the speed record on the water, underwent her second test on the Halifax River today. It is estimated that she developed a speed of 70 miles an hour.
