TOUR OF MAORI SCHOOLS

(Special to THE SUN) WELLINGTON, To-day. The Director of Education, Mr. T. B. Strong, is now on a tour of inspection of the native school districts. Travelling incessantly, his trip will occupy at least three weeks. Few people realise the magnitude of the task of native education in the Dominion. There are in New Zealand 150 native schools and they r hold over 6,000 Maori scholars.
