HEAVY-WEIGHT BOXERS
SHARKEY V. STRIBLING 10 ROUNDS AT MIAMI (United Service) NEW YORK, Wednesday. A message from Miami, Florida, says Stribiing and Sharkey will box 10 rounds this evening to a decision. Jack Dempsey and Bill Carey, for the Madison Square authorities, are jointly running the event. They will make £15,000 to £20,000 profit on the total takings of £70,000. Sharkey has a slight advantage in weight and experience over Stribiing. The former weighs 1921 b and Stribiing 1811 b. The winner stands a good chance of drawing a £200,000 gate against Dempsey or the German, Schmeling. some time this summer at New York.
