SEVEN DEAD IN FIRE SINISTER FINDS MADE (United. P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) LAUNCESTON, Wednesday. A single-barrelled gun was found beneath the body of Thomas Archer after the fire which destroyed his cottage near Devonport yesterday and resulted in the deaths of seven members of the family. The gun contained a discharged cartridge. A razor was also found on a bed. A brief bag picked up in the garden contained a barely-deeipherable note ending with the words: “Good-bye, Tom.”
